Technique Junkie Birthday Month Blog Hop

Hello once again and welcome to my contribution to the TJ Birthday Month Celebration Blog Hop. Every day is a celebration when you have so many techniques at your disposal. There is never a dull or boring moment creativly speaking.
The technique I chose is from the Emboss or Die CD. Believe me...it was not easy to choose just one. This CD like all of the others is chock full of wonderful techniques and I think I will be "stuck" on this CD for at least another week.
This particular technique is called Masked Spellbinders and I just LOVE it! The stamps I used are from Stampington and Company.
Well enough about me, LOL! Just in case you didn't start at the beginning; you should have started here With Judy's fabulous creation at the Design Junkie Blog. You are really in for some eye candy today!
You should have arrived at my blog from here Shelly's blog. WOW! I know you weren't disappointed with her delicious contribution.
When you have left a comment on my blog your next stop will be at Beth's blog. One more gorgeous project! The talent of this team never ceases to amaze me.

I have left the best for last!!! If you should happen to be chosen the random winner of this blog hop you will win the privledge of joining us as a guest designer for an entire issue of the TJ Newsletter!!
That will be a hoot for all of us and a great opportunity for you!

Thanks for stopping by, Good luck and I hope to see you back real soon.

Colorwash Alcohol WOW!

This technique from TJ's is so much fun. Mostly because it is different every time and the results are surprisingly beautiful! You can see what I mean if you look at the two layers, both done with the Colorwash Alcohol technique. The layer with the blue, and the main background layer are so different, but done the same way, with different inks of course. You can find this technique in the August/ September issue of the Technique Junkie Newssletter. If you haven't subscribed yet, you can do it here:

Thanks for stopping by. Leave some love in the form of a comment.

See you again soon,
Jackie K

Plaid Silhouettes from the new CD 10

This is one of the bonus techniques from the newest TJ CD...CD 10. There are 100 techniques on this CD, certainly enough to keep us busy for awhile, LOL! I strongly encourage you to purchase it and you can do that here:

This card uses all G studio stamps except for the sentiment and I can't remember who made that stamp. All paper is from the Paper Temptress. You can check out all of Patricia's yummy papers here:
It's a new and improved website with a lot of new products. If you are a paper junkie...this is the place to go!

I forgot to mention that the fan adornment is from the June/July issue of the Technique Junkie newsletter. The technique is called Scalloped Circle Fan.

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your support!

Color Blocking with a twist

Hello, I am so pleased that you stopped by. This card uses the color blocking technique with a bit of a twist to it. Instead of the traditional technique, I used different shaped solid stamps to create the color block background. It's a very colorful and cheerful card IRL.
The stamps I used are Club Stamp (sentiment) and the Asian inspired tree is from I Love Rubber Stamps.
I have been neglecting my blog and I hope to be posting on a regular  basis. I live in hope, LOL!
ENJOY!

Technique Strips

I was able to put this card together in no time at all because I have all of my technique scraps in one box. As you know...we NEVER throw anything out, so keeping all the scraps comes in really handy. I keep all of my technique scraps in a photo box all their own labeled "Backgrounds" which couldn't have made this card any easier.
I hope this card inspires you to give it a try, and I thank you so much for visiting. Please come back real soon!
