Distress Ink Watercolor Technique
I love to color so this is an ideal TJ technique for me. It is so relaxing. I love that you can get so many shades of one color, it makes this technique so versatile. It is from the April/May 2013 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter. Give it a go.
The B/G stamp is from PSX (one of my favorites) the very vogue woman is from Hero Arts.

Technique Junkie Fortune Cookie Technique
From the Shape It CD!

This is a really fun technique. Making the fortune cookies is so easy however I do have one helpful hint. Make the fortunes out of copy paper rather than card stock. It makes it much easier to bend the fortune cookies into shape. I used origami paper for the cookies. Also, make all different sizes, you won't be able to stop! All stamps used in this project are from Art Neko! I LOVE their Asian stamps!!!
You can pick up Chinese take out cartons just about anywhere. Don't hesitate to ask your local restaurant for a few.
Remember you can purchase the Shape it CD alone for $9.95 or buy it along with the Move it CD for only $17.95.
You can purchase them both here!

Shimmer Glimmer Sparkle and Shine TJ Blog Hop

Welcome to the Technique Junkie Blog Hop. This hop is to celebrate the newest CD which is named "Shimmer Glimmer Sparkle and Shine"
If you haven't started at the beginning of the hop, then you have missed Judy's fabulous art work. Start at here so you don't miss anything
You can see a picture index of the CDs contents here. It is just a shame that you cannot see how everything pops with shimmer, glimmer sparkle OR shine. The photos just don't pick that up.
The technique I chose to highlight for this hop is the Pearl Painted Acetate technique. WOW! Does it sparkle, even through the acetate. It amazed me how fast this card came together and let me tell you, it wasn't easy to choose a technique!
Just a bit of important details you should know. Remember, you must leave a comment on each blog to be eligible to win the CD. One person will be randomly chosen to receive the new Shimmer Glimmer Sparkle and Shine CD.. Pat will announce the winner next week on her blog which you can find here.
You should have arrived at my blog from Jane's Blog, where you should have drooled over her artwork!
Your next stop is at Tricia's Blog . Wait until you see what she has in store for you!
Last but not least!!! If you want to order the CD now (and why wouldn't you?) Here is a direct link to purchase it.
Have fun traveling through all the blogs on the hop and thanks so much for stopping by!
