Very Tempting Paper!!!

Patricia from The Paper Temptress generously sent me some samples of her paper. All I can say is WOW! I used a piece of Silver Laser Lustre to stamp my image onto. The ink takes to this paper like magic. It seems to float on the top on the lines and fall into the unlined parts so beautifully. I made this card and I used an image from Hearts in Touch. Enjoy!

The many faces of "my" mountain

The Superstition Mountain range is right in my backyard. It is a wonderful sight and I never tire of looking at it. I wait all year for the one or two days that there "might" be some snow on "my" mountain. Today was the day! A glorious sight awaiting me as I was waking up. I live in the desert, so this is the only time I see snow and that's just the way I like it. I had to drive about 1 mile away to get these photos, as I live too close to take the photos from my home (lucky me!) I LOVE living in the desert and these mountains make it all the more spectacular! I hope you enjoy the photos.

I've been published!

In the January 2009 issue of VSN. It is always an honor to be published but this time I am particularly pleased. I am a design team member for Hearts in Touch and both the card on the cover and center page were done with Frances' stamps. I love her stamps and this will I hope send some business her way.
