Hearts in Touch Rubber Stamps

This card uses two different Oriental sheets from HIT. I LOVE all of the Oriental sheets that Frances has to offer at Hearts in Touch. The focal image is from sheet #105 HIT Oriental. The added elements are from sheet #138 Geisha Photos. I used a new technique from Technique Junkies called Masked Spellbinders. It is a fun and effective technique for highlighting an image. This is my first attempt at this technique, but one I will be trying again for sure.

Little Girls have been my Motivation

Gracie's birthday has motivated me to make some "girly" cards. It's been fun, especially when you are blessed enough to work with fabulous paper and stamps. I am so very grateful to Frances Naeve owner of Hearts in Touch rubber stamps, and Patricia Dunbar, owner of The Paper Temptress, for having me as a part of their design teams.

Herringbone Horses

So here is another Herringbone Technique card, The image and sentiment are both from Impression Obsession. I used faux flower soft for the horses hats. You make faux flower soft by rubbing two styrofoam balls together. That's all folks!

Two Great Techniques

The most recent newsletter from Technique Junkies is so awesome! These are just 2 of the fabulous techniques from it. I used the Bleached Swipes technique on the image and the Herringbone technique on the background paper. The tag image is from Hero Arts.If you don't subscribe to Technique Junkies newsletter, you don't know what you are missing!

Let There Be Peace

This is a sneak preview of a Christmas card I will be posting on the Paper Temptress blog in a day or so. I love these micro beads from Stamp La Jolla, but I forget to use them. They really add elegance to a card. I also used Spellbinders Fleur De Les pendant die to add a bit more pizazz. All paper is from the Paper Temptress of course!
