To say I am proud of my son would be such an understatement.He is kind beyond measure, thoughtful,loving, generous and did I mention handsome? LOL! He is a HUGE blessing in my life. Truth be told, I am in awe of him and his abilities. He is a great son, a fabulous man, and an all around wonderful human being.
You make me proud Shane and I love you more than words can say!

My sister turns 74!

She is a mouse addict and saves all kinds except the real kind. So...what better a birthday card than House Mouse? No special techniques just a fun, simple and well appreciated card. BTW, my sister's name is Mickey (funny hey?) and she is no ordinary 74 year old. She is awesome and a very busy and active lady. Happy Birthday Sis!

Ink to Paper in the name of Love

It has been quite awhile since I have put ink to paper. Hearts in Touch had a challenge for Valentine cards and I found myself eager to participate. All images are from Hearts in Touch. I hope this is the beginning of many Inky Fingers!

Snow in the Desert

This is something I have only seen one other time in the 25 years I have lived here.It snowed December 30th on and off all day. It didn't stick but it was a sight to see in contrast to the desert. No snow on the Superstitions but I guess you can't have everything. The winter isn't over yet!
