Shimmer Glimmer Sparkle and Shine TJ Blog Hop

 

Welcome to the Technique Junkie Blog Hop. This hop is to celebrate the newest CD which is named "Shimmer Glimmer Sparkle and Shine"

You can see a picture index of the CDs contents here. It is just a shame that you cannot see how everything pops with shimmer, glimmer sparkle OR shine. The photos just don't pick that up.

The technique I chose to highlight for this hop is the Pearl Painted Acetate technique. WOW! Does it sparkle, even through the acetate. It amazed me how fast this card came together and let me tell you, it wasn't easy to choose a technique!

Joint Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joint Blog Hop!

Three Fabulous Companies have come together to bring you this Hop.

Pencil Bouquet Box.



I hope that you can see all the detail in all of the photos. As it is a box, I wanted to show you all sides. Also, as you can see, I used Bic pens in place of pencils. There are so many wonderful techniques on the Great Gifts CD, it was dificult to decide on one to showcase for this blog hop.

The products I used for this technique are as follows:
From Sweet "n Sassy Stamps I used the Together Silhouettes clear stamp set. It's a charmer isn't it?
From eclectic Paperie I used; Lily Bee- Persnickty paper line, Canvas tags, butcher's twine, buttons and woven flower from Maya Road.

Technique Junkie Birthday Month Blog Hop

 

 

 

Hello once again and welcome to my contribution to the TJ Birthday Month Celebration Blog Hop. Every day is a celebration when you have so many techniques at your disposal. There is never a dull or boring moment creativly speaking.

The technique I chose is from the Emboss or Die CD. Believe me...it was not easy to choose just one. This CD like all of the others is chock full of wonderful techniques and I think I will be "stuck" on this CD for at least another week.

This particular technique is called Masked Spellbinders and I just LOVE it! The stamps I used are from Stampington and Company.

Colorwash Alcohol WOW!

 

This technique from TJ's is so much fun. Mostly because it is different every time and the results are surprisingly beautiful! You can see what I mean if you look at the two layers, both done with the Colorwash Alcohol technique. The layer with the blue, and the main background layer are so different, but done the same way, with different inks of course. Plaid Silhouettes from the new CD 10

Color Blocking with a twist

Hello, I am so pleased that you stopped by. This card uses the color blocking technique with a bit of a twist to it. Instead of the traditional technique, I used different shaped solid stamps to create the color block background. It's a very colorful and cheerful card IRL.

The stamps I used are Club Stamp (sentiment) and the Asian inspired tree is from I Love Rubber Stamps.

I have been neglecting my blog and I hope to be posting on a regular  basis. I live in hope, LOL!
